Soldered RAM with no extra slots, so it can't be upgraded. There's an empty SATA SSD bay, but that's it. Even with Windows in S mode, 4gb is a bottleneck, and it's only going to get worse as applications inevitably become more memory intensive. I'd spend a few bucks more for something with more RAM, or one that can be upgraded. I realize not everyone has a membership, but the HP with 8GB and an upgrade slot for $350 at Costco is a better deal. The HP also has a slightly better CPU. The refurbished Gateway at Walmart is an even better deal than both, aside from the fact it's refurbished (most likely returns). https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/t/15792739

Wow. A dual-core with non-upgradeable 4 GB of RAM, small 128 GB SSD, Gateway Quality™, and $280 price tag? Not a deal.
Yeah this is a money suck product targeted at il/uninformed people. There is almost zero use cases for this configuration that can't be better served by a Chromebook or simply a better windows machine at or near the same price point. No deal for sure 😊
