Dollartree items are almost all at $1.25 now, including most laundry detergent. They're no longer at a dollar.

The problem with cheaper detergents (most varieties of Purex, Arm and Hammer, Xtra, etc) is they leave out "enzymes" from the ingredients list (viewable on the back of the package). Enzymes are what dissolve proteins/food/bodily fluids from your clothes. That's why Tide, Persil, and even the Kirkland/Sam's Club detergents work so well.

This is a good deal especially for the 40 oz bottle. Make sure you choose substitutions. Last time they subbed all mine out for Purex.

Very basic stuff. I put it in a spray bottle and use it as a per-treatment. But that's about all its good for.

Anytime I've checked these are not $1 anywhere else (or $1.25). So this is a deal for cheap shit. Not everything needs the best.
