Because even in the best scenario, I don't think it's possible to spend $300, keep a brand new phone, and still make $1200 in gift cards. At least, you started with a device you already had, and did the deal multiple times. Right?
1) When does the $499.99 sale price of the ZF3 expire?
2) When does the $899.99 sale price of the unlocked s22u expire?
3) When do the increased in-store trade values expire for the phones listed on the chart that is titled "Save up to $800 on select unlocked Samsung Galaxy phones?"
Yeah, I guess we'll find out in a few hours. To answer your next post as well, yes I was able to trade up to the ZF3 (I ordered it for pickup) got it and drove to 2nd store to do the $800 Sammy Promo.
I didn't try and get the Sammy TIV gift card applied to ZF3 purchase, just normal TMO TIV. I was intending to cancel the pickup order and try to trade in one or two old phones under that Sammy Promo and then buy the ZF3. . .but was running short of time to get to the second store before closing, and not sure if this deal is ending today, so I wanted to have something in hand.
Drove straight to the 2nd store while unwapping new ZF3 and smudging it up. This store had a green rep who needed help finding the ZF3 on the trade in list, but it only took the MGR three minutes to expand the search to all phones they sell, scroll through and choose that as the trade in phone. After than, the promo box to enter SAMSUNG and bump it from $600 to $800 is right in the middle of the page.
So hard part complete, or so we thought, until we tried to load the $800 on a gift card. Went through an entire stack of loose GC's, all negged, the asst mgr was giving up and said "sorry we are having tech issues, so we can't do this deal for you" lol I wasn't giving up there. All it took was using a retail Gift card with shelf tag attached, and good to go.
Seeing as this deal might end, I've decided to hedge my bet somewhat on a 2nd round. Have an S21 ($415 TIV order for pickup towards TMO ZF3) vs. $450 with Sammy TIV bonus, tax calculation difference makes the latter only $3 better, and given possible headache of doing it or TIV deal being over tomorrow. . . the $415 TIV online order is the clear winner, as maybe the ZF3 sale ends tonight? Also gives me a chance to back out cleanly if the unlocked S22U/Plus sale ends tonight as well.
