Tough call between the bundle at Costco or using the Ring subscriber discount. I'd likely sell most of the stick-up cams so I guess it depends how much I could get for them versus the $180 price at Ring.

does the 20% off edu discount still work? i just tried it with a code i got a few months ago, but no dice.

Didn't work for me either. I need more of these cameras anyway so I ended up ordering some of the Plus version (also on sale) with my 10% subscriber discount, rather than the Pro, because the Pro actually seems to have worse night performance.
There is a long-standing unresolved bug with these devices that prohibits the use of motion activation of the lights. At night, the light will constantly "pulse," and the only fix is to turn off the motion activated lights feature (you can still get motion alerts, but can't have the lights activate with motion).
Obviously this defeats a huge portion of the purpose of this device. Ring has no fix. They will send a new one, and within months there's a good chance the new one will do the same thing.
If you're like me and need to mount your light 20 feet off the ground, obviously replacing defective units with new ones in "hopes" that the new one won't have the same defect is untenable.

What! I just bought the new version. So just go with the old ones?

I don't see subscriber rate as $180. It shows $250. I'm logged in and have an active subscription
