All - just to be clear - it's 0.99/month per channel - not 0.99/month for all of these channels
Thanks, I was just looking for Showtime deals so I can binge Billions. When I sign up, I like to put a CANCEL BLAH BLAH notification on my calendar so I don't get charged full price when the promo ends.

Just a warning...$10.99 was charged to my American Express card on file when I clicked on the .99 cent Showtime. Had to call Roku support for a refund hopefully I will get...

which is why the deal is for 2 months to give you more time to forget. otherwise if it were for 1 month, once you sign up, turn around and cancel it right away and you can continue to watch until it expires in 30 days. still, i never go past the 1 month mark, not even for a 2 month deal.

ignore my quote from streamable, they were wrong about the Fire TV app. I need to set up the Roku Channel on some devices anyway and didn't see this offer.

Unless something has changed since December, paid channels within the Roku channel are not available on the Fire TV. I signed up for all of their holiday channel deals and they all worked on Roku devices. None of them worked on the Roku Channel app on the Fire TV.

Their own support page does not mention access to paid channels either:
What can I watch on The Roku Channel on my Amazon Fire TV device?
With The Roku Channel on Fire TV, you'll have easy access to:
Thousands of free, ad-supported movies and TV episodes
Access to more than 115 live/linear channels
Kids & Family entertainment offering thousands of TV episodes and movies

I just noticed the same thing. The Roku channel app on my Firestick gives me an error message when I try to access this special offer.

I agree but personally jump on a lot of these cheap video and music streaming deals all the time. I have made it a point to ALWAYS add an entry to my main work calendar (which I live by every day) and haven't missed a cancellation in years. I also find 1-2 months on any particular service once or twice a year actually works out better given the limited content for each service. New season of a show I like comes out? Put it on the list, keep an eye out for deals on SD and I eventually get something and bing it for a few weeks.

You are right - they are counting on you to forget.

I hate it that these .99 cent subscriptions don't have the latest shows. I grabbed Starz for Power Book IV Force and it is not on there.

For just $0.99 per month for your first two months, you can subscribe to 14 different streaming services including Showtime, STARZ, discovery+, and EPIX (a full list is below). The offer is only valid until Sunday, May 29, so don't wait too long.

Once you subscribe, you can stream all the premium content directly from The Roku Channel, which is available on Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, iOS, Android, and your browser. https://thestreamable.com/news/de...s-and-more [thestreamable.com]

Can anyone confirm whether this 2 months of discovery would be with all of the ads, or ad free? I have gotten spoiled with streaming without ads, and don't think I would be able to stand it if it is the version with ads.....

I doubt the OS in Shield TV would support it. That is why I never use mine, too limited. I deleted my direct quote from Streamable, they contradicted themselves.

I think it's only for the version with ads. I tried to subscribe to ad-free and it said I would be charged after a free trial, nothing about the .99 deal.
