The free 2-year Allstate warranty is a nice touch.
It was missing the hard drive expansion bracket, but that was $12.
Solid deal for a basic laptop.
8GB soldered. Add up to a 16GB stick to get to 24GB.
In each case, they looked and worked like new.
Once I got one with a charger that had a broken tip on it. Opened a ticket with them on a Sunday, and 2 days later received a replacement charger. Exceptional service, but I probably just got really lucky.

One of the three you asked about is a chrome book.
The Gateway has more memory and a bigger SSD, but doesn't take an nvme drive, only Sata, so the drive is going to boot more slowly.
As a practical matter the Gateway will never be able to take an NVME drive. The Acer's advantage is it is upgradeable. So while it comes with a smaller drive, both the drive and the memory are upgradeable.

The gateway was built to showcase the cpu and amount of ram. Pretty much everything else about it is built just to make those two featured items barely function.
The noname disk drive in it (seemed made just for that laptop) was also reported to be a common cause of failure, both short and long term. So imagine buying a new m.2 sata drive for more than a similar spec nvme drive and then having to pop the cover off of the gateway to replace it.
Acer at least makes "real" computers where they aren't just tempting people with bare minimum parts wrapped around a cpu.

I also purchased the Acer Swift 3 13.5" refurb. It arrived in like-new condition with low use, as a point in favor of Acer refurbs in general.
Anyway, my Motile works fine aside from the touchpad regularly turning itself off. I also have an old Acer with a pentium processor. The Acer has a better screen and also better support, but the key difference here is that if you upgrade Aspire 5 memory and maybe the SSD, you end up with a better computer than the Gateway for about the same price.
Acer did a pretty odd thing in building this Aspire with 4gb soldered (more logical would have been 8GB soldered), forcing the removal of the other non soldered 4GB RAM stick to upgrade memory, but it is still upgradable.
