You need to look at 1 star ratings, that usually deal with failures and warranty/customer sevice.

The Adata NVME from earlier this week - 7%
This one - 5%
Square hynix SATA SSD - 3%
CRUCIAL MX500, Samsung 870 Sata III - 2%

Look at the time to refill this if it fails. What is it worth to you.

I'd recommend spending $15 more on Crucial MX500 500GB

I'm pretty sure this iteration of ADATA's 512GB SATA SSD comes w/ weak/faulty controllers compared to its predecessor the SU800.

Yes, the MX500 is my go-to SSD drive when recommending to average user. Avoid the BX line as they do not have DRAM-cache

I have to disagree. BX is the only non dram drives out there that don't get pegged or are unreliable. There's many tests done on them and I've used several of them, the controller on them is really good and you would be hard pressed to tell the difference between it and a MX drive. But having said that the BX drives money wise only makes sense at the 120-250gb price point of those drives, the 500gb is virtually the same price as an MX500 and it makes no sense to get the BX over an MX if they're the same price.

Fair enough - I'd still rather pay the little extra for MX over BX line, but I'd pick either over this ADATA drive deal Wink
