I have a dedicated amp. I'm saying people are telling others it's required when it's not. You can always get a cheap amp afterwards.

The title says "Pro Studio Mixing" does this mean these are DJing headphones. Looking to buy one dont want to spend too much though.

They aren't DJ headphones. Though it's marketed as a studio headphone, it's not linear sounding. If you want that, they offer the DT880 around this price range.

The DT990 has a more consumer sound with extending highs and lows. It's more fun sounding, though not exactly accurate.

Great deal on an amazing set of headphones; Will give people a small warning that Beyerdynamic's sound signature is a little crispy and has some sibilance. If you are sensitive to those things avoid these headphones but other than that, an amazing set of cans.

What's a good cheap amp for these headphones? I'm unwilling to pay for an amp that cost almost as much as the headphones. Preferably something around 20 to 30 bucks would be nice.
