Any idea is the digital codes for these are MA?
Didn't see it in the description on the site.
The majority of these titles are MA. All the ones that are Universal Studio releases should be. Gruv does have some Lionsgate titles (ie John Wick) and of course TV shows are not MA compatible.
Where did you hear this?
Pretty sure I read on blu-ray.com it was the same version.
Not sure where he got that info but I had a chance to watch the new one and doesn't seem much different, if any.
Neither is a great transfer unfortunately š
What Dolby Vision version, isn't this the 1st UHD transfer of the movie?
I hope they don't do a crappy transfer on this, is has a lot of potential!
There's a digital 4k version of Edge of Tomorrow that's currently available, I'm guessing that's what they're referring to. Assuming it's not the same one, can anyone post any info on what they did with this new version? One of my favorites so I'm pretty excited hearing about this.

ON YOUR FEET MAGGOT!
I have not heard if EoT is a new transfer remaster the same as the digital UHD copy without DV. Hopefully they don't neuter the bass, specially the intro.

So where do you find this digital UHD DV that has been around prior to this release which is regular HDR?
Hmmm ok so if that one includes DV my educational guess is this is the same transfer, they just never released it on disc and not including DV on it.
Disney is a good example of doing that.
Would not be surprising, labels are trying to push people to digital.
Disney goes as far as putting out terrible transfers on disc to do so IMO.
It doesn't make sense to make a transfer for digital then another for disc, not cost-effective either.
I am not sure if you are saying it does not sense for WB to release it digitally in 2016 and then wait anotehr 6 years and do a new transfer. Or if it does not make sense to do DV digitally and HDR10 for the disc.
My understanding is DV is fairly easy to do for digital copies but a lot harder for discs since you have to split files over 2 or 3 layers and that is compounded by the max bitrates available depending on where you are on an optical discs since the inner circles does not spin as fast as the outside rings, thus max bitrate goes up.
I would hope this is a new transfer but given it is still HDR10 (at least a lack of DV in the press release) make me believe this is not going to have any better HDR than the existing option. I hear that HDR is lackluster as well.

EDIT: Actually it looks like it's still available.

No, you need a 4K blu-ray player. People usually buy gaming consoles for this reason because you get more than just a blue-ray player.
