If you look at the linked video in my previous post for the disassembly and parts upgrade, this 2022 model, TE02 series looks completely different and bigger than the 2021 model (TE01). This looks like a slightly redesigned HP Omen 25L Desktop which mostly uses standard components like ATX motherboard and Power supply. The CPU Cooler height is also bigger compared to the last year model.

Also, after doing some digging, I am finally able to found out the exact motherboard detail and that is a good news because it is using standard uATX form factor. The Bios SSID is 894B and from their, I was able to found the details:

Why don't you share the link so that we can compare the features of those two?

Legit concern: the YT video shows about 1" left of space between the (assuming 3060) stock card and the front of the unit, due to the placement of a hard drive cage right there. If that were removed, you'd have a bit more room for longer cards.

That said, without knowing the specs of the 3060 unit in use, it's hard to compare and know what would and wouldn't work. But based on the fact you can spec this with a 3070Ti, it's clear at least HP's version of that would work...

12700 non k edition runs cooler. I doubt anyone would ever upgrade past that as I can't think of a reason.

Purchased same envy but custom configured with 3070ti and i7-12700. It's pretty nice for the price. 3070ti is 3 fan model and barely fits. 3.5" hdd mount is riveted to front of case and 3070ti nearly touches it. 800w power supply is a cooler master 80 plus gold. Power supply fan is loudest fan in case at idle. Probably because it's 1/2" from metal bottom of case and only half of fan can has holes in bottom to pull air. Motherboard is a stripper model and only has 3 internal storage ports. 2 m.2 nvme pciex4. I tested with Samsung evo plus 970 and get advertised speeds. Only 1 sata port for hdd even though there are two mountings for hard drives. Only one pcie x16 slot that's it. No x4 or x1 slot. CPU-x says motherboard is pcie 5.0. But nvidia control panel says pcie 4.0. Small tower cpu cooler and I get 20400 cinebench r23 stock win11. Extremely bare bone motherboard but uses standard components so you could put a different board in or swap to another case. This case looks pretty damn good for a prebuilt.

Yeah I agree the 12700 is much more attractive than the 12600k but what will those give you that the 12400 won't? You'll probably be GPU limited playing at 1440p or 4k so you won't be getting a lot of extra frames.

Does anybody know if it works well to replace the memory in these machines with the Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 DDR4 RAM that I have?
