Chef John from Food Wishes approves this Slick Deal (no he doesn't. But I like to think he does).

(and for the unacquainted, he puts a bit of Cayenne in almost every savory recipe he makes on his Youtube Channel/blog).

Good deal! In for 1, it's gonna last a while in this spice averse household!

This is good to throw on your yard to keep dogs from taking dooks and other critters like armadillos away.

Can cayenne pepper be used as a main base seasoning directly on meats or does it have to be mixed with something. Or is a chili powder mix better options?

A 40% off option showed up on your first subscribe and save. It worked for me even though this item is not my first S/S. So, it was under $3 total.

Nice to see a Chef John reference.
I went to high school with John back in the day.

I do this...mainly for rabbits. Don't know if it actually works, but here's hoping.

I guess in person his speach is of a normal cadence but in his videos all the dialog is done off camera and he achieves his famous word rhythm while reading his script. I subscribe and thumbs up all his vids.

Another entertaining cook to look for is "Sam The Cooking Guy".

It's just a very spicy chili powder. Cayenne peppers are several times spicier than jalapenos. I would assume you don't want that as the only seasoning on your meats.

That's subjective.

You can put whatever you like on your meats. As long as you enjoy it.
