I bought a previous generation and I didn't notice such a differences that it seemed worth the extra money for me. Maybe lasted me a few months more than a more basic mouse, but I didn't really find value in it either from a performance perspective or an endurance perspective. I'd say it would be a matter of personal preference and if you're the type that goes through computer hardware relatively often.
I have been reluctant to buy anymore Logitech mice given their price premium (obviously, if this a a deal at $75) due to their malfunction rate. Anecdotal evidence is all I can offer personally, but the many reviews of the double click/drag issue have been on the internet for years.

But I am sure this is a nice mouse if it doesnt fail after 14 months like so many of mine have done.

Hmmmmmmm….

Worth it?
Office Depot/Office Max often has this 20-25% off $100 coupon. I picked up Mx Keys for mac and MX master 3 for mac during these promotions in the past. I've had the pair for about a year. They work well together in a work environment.

I used to use a vertical mouse because of wrist numbness when using a regular mouse. This mouse isn't vertical, it's "half-vertical" in terms of wrist position. But, I've had no wrist problems with it.

Overall, It's ergonomic, programmable, and sturdy. The rechargeable battery life is pretty good. I'd say that it's worth the price tag if you're on a desktop often.

Multi device switching is a godsend in an IT environment. It's basically a modern/wireless KVM. I've used an MX Keys and the MX 3 for years without any issues. If one of them died I'd pick up a replacement on lunch break.

Have the 2S from Dell deal ($50) and will only pick this up around that price. Not enough advancements to justify paying more.

This is really a great mouse. Bought it ~2 years ago and it's still going strong.

The main features are:

1. Horizontal scrolling
2. Ability to connect with three different computers / iPads
3. Fantastic ergonomic design

I bought one on the staples deal a few months back. I have a MX Master 2S and thought the 3 would be a nice upgrade. The scroll wheel on the 3 is janky and noisy in comparison to the 2S. Hoping the new version will be better, but this generation is to be avoided.

I've wanted this for awhile, but dang even $75 still feels like a lot of a mouse. Would be using for office work and Excel.
You spend so much time in front of a PC. I have this and the MX 2S and it's worth it. Stay away from the cheap Chinese ones that you see selling for <$15

You can get a free Logitech Studio Series Mouse Pad or Desk Pad when purchasing the mouse (free item offer expires 5/28/22).
https://www.officedepot.com/cm/re...ve-savings

I chose:
Logitech® Studio Series Multi-Functional Large Desk Mat, 11-13/16" x 27-1/2", Mid-Gray
Mouse Pad Link [officedepot.com]

Desk Mat Link [officedepot.com]

DON'T DO THE 20% COUPON CODE MENTIONED BELOW: the SD extension also found a coupon code for $4 off the desk pad via a 20% off coupon code, . Unfortunately I lost the screenshot for that, but my order total for both was $90.98 + tax.

edit: I confirmed you can get the free item, but don't do the 20% discount code found by the SD extension because it will negate the free item. You can get both the mouse and a mouse/desk pad for $74.99 + tax.

My M1 Mac only has usb c ports. Did you have to buy a dongle just to connect the receiver?
My Mac Mini has USB A ports, so it wasn't an issue for me. You could use Bluetooth, but my experience with that wasn't good, so it might be worth the dongle or dock.

Wanted to like this, but bought this on the last deal and the scroll wheel would stick and it would over scroll. Returned and the replacement did the same. Got a second replacement and same problem. I went back to using the Anywhere 2s and no problems.

It is expensive, but for me it's worth it. I'm in my computer all day for work and using a Mac Magic Mouse made my fingers cramp and ache. This is much more ergonomic, plus has useful features that are convenient for office tasks. The buttons and wheels are customizable and can be customized for individual applications. Very handy. The price definitely makes it an extravagance, but if you're on your computer all day like me, it might be a worthwhile expenditure.

$70.98? Otherwise it seems you paid for that desk pad.
