I noticed is always activate your Costco membership in the beginning of the month to get the entire month. Something to remember.

Costco ends your membership at the end of the month regardless of when the membership was activated in that month.

I tried this once asking to create the new account under my name instead of my brother's. The employee totally ignored me and just renewed my brother's account. Never got the coupons or shop card

Costco is notorious for not sending out coupons due to fine print. Make sure you understand the terms or you won't get anything.

How long are the lines typically at the gas station and car wash? Here in SoCal, ARCO is only about 10 cents more per gallon than Costco gas. Not worth sitting in a 20 min line.

Man, I'd love to be a fly on the wall in the meeting around a year from now when they see the ratio of Groupon groupies that signed up to how many get terminated from extreme gaming of returns Big Grin "Wasn't that SMITHERS' idea???"

Don't get me wrong, it's there, use it, but there's a line and Costco is really super reasonable.

There *IS* a 1:1 Venn diagram of my ex-wifes friends who aren't quite kicked out of Costco, but are on a watch list and are also on custom watchlist for smugglers . . . for not declaring 5lbs of beef jerky in their luggage. LMAO

Agree. Costco let's you buy stuff without a membership though so to me it's worth it less to buy a membership (though it's basically free with this deal). I get nutrisystem guft cards and they're 80 bucks with membership, 85 without.
