I noticed is always activate your Costco membership in the beginning of the month to get the entire month. Something to remember.

Costco ends your membership at the end of the month regardless of when the membership was activated in that month.

I tried this once asking to create the new account under my name instead of my brother's. The employee totally ignored me and just renewed my brother's account. Never got the coupons or shop card

idk if it is coded to the account that is signed up specifically, but I'm willing to buy a few if someone wants to sell theirs for $10, $5 up front then $5 after I confirm it works on my online costco account. PM me your PayPal email and forward me the coupon email (to my PayPal email). Will edit this comment once I have gotten two or three codes.

Same, i did this last year and never received anything. This is a scam kinda sadly, I mean you still get the membership at full price but nothing else.

I tried one of these offers before (it was offered through Costco's website instead of Groupon). I never got my gift cards, despite verifying with their online chat help that I would get them and just needed to wait. When I asked again 2 months later, Costco support said that they couldn't see the promotion on my account and refused to honor it. I requested a full refund of my membership fee and haven't looked back. I live less than a mile from Costco, but I still drive 10 miles away to go to Sam's Club. Better service, cheaper memberships, and better shopping experience thanks to Scan and Go.

Yea it has my membership, but no payment method and says it can not be "auto renewed" until next February. But it is like where did my add a payment method go then? Literally in the warehouse added my card had to confirm it and everything.

How exactly does this work for "new members in the first year of their membership" if it's also "not valid for the renewal of an existing Costco membership"? Is this meant to say "valid for new members *purchasing* the first year of their membership" instead?
