you are so clueless, why dont you stop the CA BS. Sales tax in CA is no higher then in many other states. I live in CA and pay 8%

I pay almost 11% in CA .... it varies by county and city also. That's why ecommerce businesses have to spend $$$ on just tax calculations, as this varies by zip code.

Decent deal, but not cray deal. FHD on 15" non oled is fine. Plenty of deals w/ 11th gen 500-700$ now.

I second this. I jumped on the MSI deal and Costco refused to honor the advertised $150 shop card for that. I regret not having taken a screenshot of the product page.

ofcourse not! they are still looking to come up with a deal for i5,8gb,500gb for $700 Smilie now Costco not honoring some previous MSI deal is worrisome indeed.

Right now can't think of any. Last month Samsung pro was 600. This is still 1200 out of pocket. It's a good deal, just saying for 11th gen stuff, there are going to be plenty of sale after sale for the next few weeks (months?).

In every laptop thread there is always talk about previous gen sales. This laptop would pretty much suffice for 90% of the users.

If you are into gaming, video editing or need specialized processing, look elsewhere. If you want the latest and greatest, pony up some $. Hard to find anything comparable in weight and specs ATM. This is Costco afterall and let's not forget that.
