s22+ also has wifi 6e, mmwave, 35w charging, brighter display with later tech (same as iphone 13 pro). but i agree, for most people, those do not warrant $200 difference and thats why i opted for s22. now i am switching back to s22+ since $100 difference only now.

Looks like they just dropped the price of the S22 Ultra and S22+ another $100 over the previous promotion, but left the S22 at the same $500 off.

The price difference between the S22+ and S22 ($100) makes more sense now considering the only differences between the two seem to be the larger display and bigger battery. $200 was a bit much.

Seriously, do not ask support or Reddit. Google obviously knows some people exploit this promotion but the more people asks about the exploit, the quicker they'll find ways to prevent it. It has been discussed on almost every single page in this thread and any previous thread that involves Google Fi. If you don't want to risk it, then just keep the SIM in as Google has intended. You're never going to get an official word from Google on how to exploit their own promotions.

I didn't asked anywhere or anyone, all I did was research on Reddit, which by the way is full of horror stories of people not satisfying the promotion requirements and getting charged by Google.

The threads here are old and there's no guarantee it still works , so I personally wouldn't tell people that it's okay to remove the Fi SIM, stick it in a drawer, and hope that all goes well. I believe the best bet is to keep the Fi SIM in the phone and activate the ESIM for another line, if needed.

Is anyone on here on Fi using US Cellular? I got the S22+ and I'm in a 5G area but only get LTE. Fi support is useless I don't even know why I bothered with them
