Being new has no bearing on how good a movie is. Also, $3 for a shitty movie is not a good deal, despite how discounted it may be. I can't imagine spending $3 just to feel good about "saving $19". You know what's even better than that? Skipping over this deal and saving $22

Movie had a great cast and some amazing cinematography, but the writing and pacing is too boring. They set up a crazy setting where people are living partially submerged in water thanks to climate change, where technology gives them the ability to experience real memories...and the story is about depressed Hugh Jackman obsessing over a girl he just met.

Still not worth that price. Movie is extremely slow and boring for me. Maybe at 99. Cents

I can't believe how many people are condemning a (basically) free movie that's not even a year old.

I'm sure it depends on the location, but another incentive is free pickup - in my case, it'll be ready for pick up in 1 hour.

Edit: it was ready for pick up 8 mins after placing the order
"A (basically) free movie." 😂

Do that 100 times and see where that gets ya. Some of these mental gymnastics people pull..

You know it's not a deal when I'm hesitating to burn my $5 BB rewards that expire soon on this. 🤣
Go price match amazon at bestbuy or call in to bestbuy and let them take the reward towards dune 4k or the latest James bond 4k film?

Pretty good movie but ya it seemed like plot itself was wasted considering the incredible setting and sci fi in the world it builds. Great cast and acting.

Reviews seem pretty good but I'm hesitating after comments from my fellow SDers.
I think some people wanted a wolverine type character and a lot more stuff to blow up. I would say that this movie was more about story telling than about blowing things up and feeding to the lowest common denominator of movie goers. I figure the people that hated the movie are the same people that think McDonald's is cuisine and Pepsi is a sophisticated drink.

If you want to watch a movie with a partially submerged world that doesn't suck check out Split Second starring Rutger Hauer.

Watched this movie right when it came out. Was pretty excited because the story seemed interesting and it looked beautiful based on previews.

Literally one of the worst AAA movies I've ever seen. Not worth most people's time, even if they pay you to watch it.

I will give it one compliment in that the cinematography is stellar. That doesn't;t save it from the wretched dialog. We're talking only a step above The Room bad, but it's not funny.

I thought the movie was pretty good. The story and acting were great, too bad it didn't do well in the box office.
