We ended up putting on Amazon uhd movie (jolt) on both tvs at the same exact time and wow. She ended up watching on the smaller oled and I was watching in the bigger non-oled but if you do side by side you'd see the big difference. Modern warfare looks slightly different too but not enough for me to really care too much about, plus we watch more shows and movies than I game.
Save $50 here or $100 extra one time... or continue to save big down the road.
I just feel all these cancelations will eventually put an end (or make it more complicated) to these big deals through EDU.
And for the people questioning whether this is a good deal or not, the answer is HELL F**KING YES this is a fantastic deal. Why do you think it is limited to only EDU/EPP?
For reference on the ebb and flow of TV pricing, I suggest this article . It's held pretty steady over the years, even during the pandemic.

I am returning the TV b/c I got it at the higher supposedly good price at the time $2250 (1 month ago) and they refused to do price match b/c I got the 10% cancel already. I have nothing else to do so we did the return and it's not that big a hassle.

Are you keeping the tv? I'm thinking of this or a 83 oled but the price difference is massive and my kids play games constantly so the burn in could be a problem with the oled.
I'd love the 83" oled, I wouldn't worry about burn in from what I see it's not so much an issue any more w these newer tvs but also w the 65" I got from Costco it came w some 4 or 5 yr guarantee so I feel comfortable w that. I'd def go oled. Like I said, [not to be sexist or anything] but if my wife can notice the difference (and at first she said she didn't care, it's all the same thing blah blah), then that speaks for itself: she'll tell you she doesn't care but then when it comes to firing it up… oh yea
