I bought this TV earlier for the $2250 price and I am 100% happy with the quality of images. I have a rather bright family room and this TV is just great in the room. Sure I wish I got it for the current $1960 price, but I'm done wheel'n and deal'n for a big screen TV.... I'm just enjoying it now. Thank you SlickDeal members for posting about this TV !

It's a stretch to call them clowns for saying that. You are brazenly extorting them, they knew it and played along. I mean do what you will to get a deal, but they are clowns to offer 10% back in the first place, not for telling you it can't stack.

Those of you who have OLEDs, do you find that inside lights at night affect the viewing? I keep hearing people say the QN90A is better for "bright rooms".

I only watch TV at night, and just wondered how inside night lighting affects your viewing experiences for TVs.

Seems like the EDU/EPP getting strict apparently. Seems like they are excluding GOV/MIL now.
I have a military account and never got any of the EDU/EPP pricing others were getting. Wanted to order when it was around $2,250 with EDU. My son is home from college now so he created an EDU account yesterday and we ordered it.

Does anyone know if I can use my Google home speakers to turn the TV on/off? It has Google Assistant and I can do this on my Sony x900H so I imagine it's the same with this Samsung.

Was going to wait for the new Sony 85 X90K and rtings review, but this deal seems great. The Sony is $3,000 won't be on sale probably until black Friday or next year. Any thoughts?

My wife thinks the same way as you. But if you consider that the fist TV was $3000, and now this one is about $1900... then I believe it's worth it.
Ignore the haters, I completely agree with you. I have no problems returning when you deal with multi billion dollar companies charging $5000 for a TV. Even $1700 is ridiculous. I returned mine today and my wife helped out, didn't take too long. will save about $500. and i won't even accept delivery of the next TV if Samsung plays this game and drops the price in 2 weeks

Very different experiences:

Samsung warranty: You put in a ticket online, they send out a technician to troubleshoot. He comes back a second time with parts.

Costco warranty: There is no concierge, this is done through Citi's warranty service which is operated by a 3rd party warranty company. The submission process is pretty easy but you have to fill out several forms, provide the receipt and statement that the charge showed on. Then you need to provide a quote for repair meaning you have to get samsung or one of their service partners to quote the repair or come out and troubleshoot it to quote the repair.

if you do the samsung extended warranty you better be sure it is serviced by samsung and not a 3rd part!!!
Thanks, very helpful

Does the cancellation hack still work at this time? If yes, what's the best way to get it? Call, chat, or click on the cancel button?

I tried to press the cancel button but it took me to a page where I have to click on the reason for cancellation. Didn't want to proceed because I might screw it up. Thanks!

Will they do a price adjust refund if I bought last month for $2250 over 30 days ?
Absolutely not. Unfortunately.

Extra 2% Off
No matter what your final price is, you can save an additional 2% off if you go to Samsung.com through Rakut$n. 2% of $1960 is just over $39.

Was able to sign up my wife using her teacher's email. Price still showed $2599, but when you go to checkout, it auto-sent me to ID.me to verify her account. Once that was done, it came back to Samsung.com and showed the lower price. Now to figure out which tablet to add to get bundle discount.

Some people who make $15 per hour spend 10 hours to return a TV to save $500. For others it isn't worth it..

I agree with you in that even 1700$ is ridiculous for this TV.
