I bought this TV earlier for the $2250 price and I am 100% happy with the quality of images. I have a rather bright family room and this TV is just great in the room. Sure I wish I got it for the current $1960 price, but I'm done wheel'n and deal'n for a big screen TV.... I'm just enjoying it now. Thank you SlickDeal members for posting about this TV !

It's a stretch to call them clowns for saying that. You are brazenly extorting them, they knew it and played along. I mean do what you will to get a deal, but they are clowns to offer 10% back in the first place, not for telling you it can't stack.

Some people who make $15 per hour spend 10 hours to return a TV to save $500. For others it isn't worth it..
I make a lot more more than $15 an hour but I still value when I had nothing. To each his own I guess but $500 saved is $500 earned. and it took us 45 min to return the TV.

How do you repackage the TV after cutting the box open ? Do you go out and buy new cord to tie the top and bottom box together since that's what it's come as new ?

If you took delivery of this TV recently like me, but paid $290 more, you can chat with support and request a price adjustment. They did it for me. I never bothered with the ploy of threatening to cancel.

Those of you who have OLEDs, do you find that inside lights at night affect the viewing? I keep hearing people say the QN90A is better for "bright rooms".

I only watch TV at night, and just wondered how inside night lighting affects your viewing experiences for TVs.
Indoor lights won't affect the OLED image quality to the point where you can notice the difference. I'm pretty sure your indoor light at home won't ever be as bright as showroom light at Best Buy and yet when you look at the OLED there it's stunning.

Chase UR gives 7% cash back via UR points, better use that instead
If you're getting 7% just by using your Chase card you can still get an additional 2% off . It doesn't matter what your payment is.
I'm a first responder and I have learned about many available discounts. Many of these discounts are available for Educators as well as Millitary, Medical, Government and Students. Check out ID.ME if you haven't already. I have saved so much since I learned about this.

Ignore the haters, I completely agree with you. I have no problems returning when you deal with multi billion dollar companies charging $5000 for a TV. Even $1700 is ridiculous. I returned mine today and my wife helped out, didn't take too long. will save about $500. and i won't even accept delivery of the next TV if Samsung plays this game and drops the price in 2 weeks
You're trying rationalize what you're doing by calling them "multi-million dollar companies" as if they stole something from you. Just own it dude.

just do reverse of this, took us 10-15 min. the ties weren't necessary, we just used packing tape though it wasn't necessary once you put the clips back on. well packaged and easy to redo

Thx OP and all here who answered questions. Got for $1960, negotiated the extra 10% due to misleading shipping dates, and navigated thru my Chase UR account for another 4% (I have Sapphire not Freedom)... not too shabby, y'all!

Also fun/related to think about, my 2016 65" 8000 series Sammy I'd also found here as an EPP deal lasted me a solid six years before getting the itch again... plus I'll get to relegate it to the master and the master 55" as a solid back patio set for games and whatnot...

I got the LG OLED E6 65" in 2016 and I'm kinda torn if I should replace it with this monstrosity… nothing wrong with the OLED for 6 years of course still beautiful perfect picture as the first day.

Something in the back of my mind is telling me to go for it since it's under 2k for a 85" but I can't justify replacing a perfect OLED with an equal /slightly less impressive image quality (despite the huge size difference) TV.. Maybe I should wait for the QD-OLED to go on sale for it to be a true upgrade.

I ordered the "2021 Slim Fit Wall Mount" slim mount ($116.99) with Professional TV mounting ($120.00). I don't need the full motion and tilt features for the TV.

for a cheapskate perspective will I see a big difference between This and a budget Samsung TU7000 4k? tia
If you use high-quality source material like 4K HDR streaming through Netflix HBO Max or if you play 4K Blu-ray's or movies off a hard drive the difference in color vibrancy contrast black level performance is night and day it's like going from a Honda Civic to a Porsche 911 GT three it's a lot more money but you get your moneys worth for sure

He doesn't have to relationalize anything. Samsung support are a bunch of clowns. My TV in being delivered and Samsung refuses to price match because they gave me the 10% discount. They're just wasting time and resources, as I'm just going to refuse shipment. I already reordered at the $1960 price.. like the other guy said, if they decided to be clowns again and reduce the price in 2-3 weeks, I will do it again. Return and reorder.

Reviews are terrible on this one, does anyone here have experience with this?

Appreciate you walking me through it... still only seeing 3:1 tho...maybe it's because I "only" have Sapphire Preferred vs. some of the higher level Chase cards I've seen here lately?
Its actually 3:1 for both Sapphire Preferred and Sapphire Reserve, which is the highest level card at Chase. Only Freedom is offering 7:1 points, however you won't get the extended warranty benefit from Sapphire cards.
