I bought this TV earlier for the $2250 price and I am 100% happy with the quality of images. I have a rather bright family room and this TV is just great in the room. Sure I wish I got it for the current $1960 price, but I'm done wheel'n and deal'n for a big screen TV.... I'm just enjoying it now. Thank you SlickDeal members for posting about this TV !

It's a stretch to call them clowns for saying that. You are brazenly extorting them, they knew it and played along. I mean do what you will to get a deal, but they are clowns to offer 10% back in the first place, not for telling you it can't stack.

For those who use shop with chase and got the UR points, did you use any coupon code to get 5% off order from chat before placing order?

Any mount experts who can help?
I have a mount purchased from Monoprice, rated for 160 lbs, but only TVs upto 60". Can I still use that mount for this 85" TV as long as VESA is supported? I earlier had a 110 lb Samsung 52" TV mounted on it

the TV has Shipped and is in local transit. The tablet has not and still has the cancel button. If I cancel the tablet, does it affect the bundled price. I would rather just cancel than have to worry about returning it or reselling it
Wondering this myself. I already received the 10% discount on the TV as well via chat, so not sure what will happen if I try and cancel the tablet.

It will not let you click the cancel button. I've tried. 😅
I can click on the cancel button for the tablet still, and it routes me to the Chat function same as when I did so for the TV. Just not sure what will happen if I follow through...

For my situation, you can click the cancel once and it opens up the chat or cancel button. I tried to press this second cancel button and it wouldn't let me. Probably because the tv has shipped already.

Update: I selected the chat person to see what they say, at first they offered a 10% discount for not cancelling the tablet, but when I told them I already received a discount on the TV, they affirmed that actually I would not be eligible for an additional discount. I then asked if I cancelled the tablet if it would affect my pricing or discount received on the TV, and they said it would not, and confirmed a refund price on the tablet of $108 ($100 plus tax, basically). I got it in writing and emailed the chat transcript to myself.

However, when I go back to the order history page, I still have the original "cancel" button available for the tablet, but if I click on it I get the message "This item is part of a promotion. Cancelling this item will cancel other items in the promotion as well. Please select a reason to continue." I'm a little concerned that clicking that button will screw up my order for the TV, so I'm holding off for now. Maybe after I receive the TV and everything is ok, I'll look at cancelling/returning the tablet.

If I might add my .02. I had this TV and an LG c8 for a few weeks side by side. The menu system for the LG I feel is way more intuitive. The picture on the LG also was nicer. Even with the motion settings adjusted on the Samsung it never looked right to me. The LG out of the box was better and after some tweaking was amazing. I couldn't get the Samsung set to look right. I used some professional settings I found on AVS forum for for the TV. In my situation it was in a light control basement for my movie theater room. I did not need the extreme brightness that this TV offers and is what makes it stand out. If you are all about screen size and brightness, and you're not going to use the menu system on the TV and you're going to run it with something else it would probably be hard to beat for this price.

I kept the 77 inch LG C8 and would not go back. The picture quality I believe on the LG is better. I have a free Samsung remote for this TV if anyone wants it, and wants to pay the shipping. I forgot to send it back with the TV. First person to send me a PM gets it.

I really appreciate your post.

I actually already had the 77" LG C1 in hand (was able to sell it for what I paid for it locally). But after reading a bunch of reviews (Rtngs, etc.), I felt that it would not fit my situation, in a larger Family/Great Room with limited lighting control. I also considered the Sony 85" non-OLED models for about the same pricepoint $2K, but that also doesn't have great anti-reflective coating. This deal was just too good to pass up honestly, and will hold me over well until QD-OLED or LG OLED come down in price and are less susceptible to burn-in.

If you got a basement or theater room, this TV would be great, but will never be able to compare to a true OLED. Just watch out for that burn-in, because if you ever get it, it is terrible. My buddy's 2016 model has it pretty badly, and it's distracting as hell to watch anything. Good luck and enjoy.

No way they can sell returned TVs as new condition. Only if the box is unopened can they resell as new else its against consumer laws. I am not sure about the QC problems you mention about this TV though.
Good to know they are new... mine shipped today and is arriving on June 2nd that's our anniversary. I hope it is not damaged... This will be good gift... I was going to go for 65" thinking it will be difficult to convince the lady for a bigger TV... She wanted to buy the biggest under 2K. That's when I knew I married the right girl !!

If anyone wants to know, you can schedule the delivery with AGS pretty far out in advance. I did mine in late June as I'm moving and I don't want to move this TV. I am pretty sure the return period starts once the TV is delivered, not ordered.

If AGS has a tracking, it will be listed under Orders under Samsung webpage or App. SAM#######. Input the 7 digit #, and zip code, and you can schedule.

Mine shows shipped from COPPELL TX 75019. No ETA yet, so i cannot schedule yet. Maybe in a couple of days once it gets to AGS warehouse.

Good luck.

Samsung is definitely selling returned TVs. i bought the 50in version of this TV and the box was taped back quite poorly and the bags with the remote and stand were all ripped. I wanted to return for a replacement, but the unit was OOS so i got a 10% discount and kept the TV bc i wanted it. TV seems to be working ok thus far, and have COSTCO credit card which will double the manufacturers warranty.
