Seems to be an older model? Wondering if this is good or should wait for the single battery 60/80v version?

I'm going to wait. I'd rather have a higher voltage. Once I commit to a voltage I don't want to be underpowered on the rest of the ecosystem.

I bought a similar setup with two batteries about 2 months ago, I can mow for around 25 minutes or so.

I am well invested in the 60V line. No regrets.
This 24V line of theirs appears to be their entry in to the power tool market (while also being able to do lawn/yard stuff). I'm already bought in to Milwaukee there but I would pass on it anyway as the established power tool brands are known quantities. If you're just starting out (no tools, no yard equipment) this might be more intriguing.

Would recommend to go for 60v or 80v if you can. May be tough to use this if your grass is tall and/or wet. I typically mow every 3 weeks so this probably won't work for me

We just moved to a house and used manual reel mower for first cut. In need of first lawn mower. Which model in costco are you referring?

I got this last year and after several times using it gave it away. I was having problems with BOTH batteries I received holding a charge. Also, the lever that controlled cutting height broke during the second use.

it is not really the voltage. 48 should be enough. It is the total watt hours. A 80v 4ah should last as long as this.

In a way doing it this way makes sense. If a couple of internal batteries go out in a 80 v one then the battery is dead. Here that is just one of four batteries dead. Cheaper to replace.

This is a good price for a 21" mower. You can also use it for a lot of other tools. Generally Greenworks is a decent product. I had a 20" 40 V mower and it worked fine. Just a bit small and dual blades I prefer 21" or larger.

60v works fine for me even on thick tall grass.

I got this same mower from greenworks website just about 3 weeks ago for 199 and a free drill. I was hesitant at first but I am in love with this baby. It mows for about 35 minutes before it beeps and needs recharging. Luckily I have some other 24v batteries to use also. It runs just as good as my gas mower that its replacing.
Be aware. This mower is not some little light weight mower. This thing is heavier than my craftsman gas mower of the same size.

Are you saying voltage only correlates to run time and not power?
