Normally $190, currently $150 which is pretty good for a 4.3 cubic foot mini fridge with a freezer compartment too (0.5 cubic feet).
Extra 10% off with code MEMORIAL10 at checkout brings it down to $135 total before tax.

Must be purchased online.

The code also applies to select kitchen items: https://www.target.com/pl/290456016

Based on other mini fridges posted, this looks to be a pretty good deal.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

4.3 cubic feet is huge for a mini fridge, so this won't slide under a desk, but $35 per cubic foot is a solid price. That said, colleges are close to summer break, so you might be able to find mini fridges on local listings for much less. They might even be stacked by the dumpster.

I normally wouldn't rent anything, nor have buy-here, pay-here. But I couldn't find many affordable fridges in stock here in FL that could be delivered instead of picked up, that weren't Samsung. So we resigned ourselves to renting from Buddy's, a place a friend of mine recommended that she had used before. It was $60 by the week or $200 by the month, no contract, no ding to my credit and they had it out within the hour, which I found impressive. Sad thing is, we had Geek Squad on one new product and I found out that it actually would have covered the fridge.

In the future if I notice milk spoiling early, I'll take note and start shopping around sooner instead of just turning it up colder. Clark Howard says that with kitchen appliances, it is better to replace rather than fix, after the 3-5 year mark, which I found surprising.

Anyone know if this would fit a carboy or 5 gallon bucket? Im in market for a unit for homebrewing as a ferment chamber, but not sure if the freezer would get in the way. Doors seem good as far as being able to remove everything to allow for space, just not sure about fitting a bigger vessel in.

Will this be okay to put in Garage or covered/screened patio in FL heat?

I don't think so. I live in FL and unless a fridge or freezer is rated for outdoor use, down here it just doesn't work well, from what I've been told. This is only May and today's "real feel" temp was 100. I don't know about your garage but ours gets super hot.

Wow, didn't think i'd see a deal on this. Good fridge. Currently own one and found one on craigslist for near new condition. The freezer is tiny and can get more tiny when the frost builds up. The removable shelves are durable enough and the bottom part is slightly small.
I bought some plastic bins for the shelves from costco and helps a good bit with organizing and more storage. since they can stack. Very good for any college student, or man cave storage

I've read reviews saying it is loud for sleeping. We'll try it out at home before delivering to son. Fingers crossed.
It can get loud but depending if your kid can sleep through the loudness and is a heavy sleeper. If he's a light sleeper, he may have a hard time when it kicks in. For me, it's not overly loud, if he games and can hear his GPU or CPU fan, it's lower than that. As long as his bed is far enough from the room he should be fine. 13x11 room, frig on one side and his head on the other side. He'll be fine.

I highly doubt it'll survive a long time. With temps around maybe high 70s, the condenser/compressor kicks on more often than usual. I have one in use. If it's sitting outside with high temps, it won't last long. It might keep it cool but that condenser/compressor is going to die prematurely for sure. Also the insulation is thin on the doors based on the thickness. I don't know too much of what kind of insulation is used but just my thought.
.
While I was looking this up last year, I believe there's no way to service the refrigerant if that goes out based on what I found. I could be wrong. Most of the models are pretty much the same. Some people have posted what could be the manufacturer. The look of them were quite similar and the configuration inside were just altered.

I would see if you can get this on the used market though, especially if your'e in a college town. Definitely now is a good time with students moving out and new students coming in. I bought mine for half price.

thanks man .. any recommendations on outdoor ones that are decent and energy efficient? Just looking for something to store drinks in like beer, soda, water, etc... to free up space in kitchen fridge.

Sorry, I never looked into those. I would say if there are any boat fridges you could actually try those. I don't know the cost for them but they'd definitely probably do a better job. Now you got me curious to find out.

I'm in central Florida and have had mine on a covered porch the last two years (magic chef 4.5 cu ft) and it's been fine. Parents have a different model of the same brand on their porch too (at least 7-8 years old now) and also running fine. Definitely possible just can't say about whirlpool.

Keep an eye on craigslist, you can normally pickup a decent fridge from rich people upgrading when they renovate their kitchen. A $200 fridge that's a few years old should last you awhile.

Some good ol all purpose cleaner and you got a steal in that regard. My job may force me to go back to work so I'm scouting the local ads trying to catch a deal just so I can start bringing in meals I'm now used to eating

I think you're being cheeky, but if you're not, this won't work. Community colleges rarely have on-campus housing. They're still a decent source of surplus tech and office furniture.

College students throw out so much good stuff or just leave it behind. I used to repair dorm hardware in the summer, and I made out with some crazy hauls, but I hated their wastefulness nearly as much as I hated their lack of basic respect for their living space.
