Hello everyone! I saw this on Best Buy's website and felt that it was worth sharing.

Currently, Best Buy is offering $50 off on all of the Galaxy Watch 4 or Galaxy Watch 4 Classic models. However, there appears to be a price mistake wherein if you add a Galaxy Z Flip 3 to your cart the watch is discounted to $50 flat out instead of simply being $50 off the regular price. I tested this out with both an unlocked Z Flip 3 as well as a carrier model (For example the Z Flip 3 Verizon model that is $499 with "Activate Today" pricing).

The best case would be to buy one of the more expensive models like the Galaxy Watch4 Classic Stainless Steel 46MM LTE model which is usually $429.99 but becomes discounted to $50 with the addition of a Z Flip 3 purchase. However, as mentioned it works with all watch models.

Two examples of utilizing this deal:
Unlocked Z Flip 3 (Activate Today price $800) and any watch model for $850
Verizon Z Flip 3 (Activate Today price $500) and any watch model for $550

It's easy for me. I'm a TMO customer with 9 lines for awhile, good communication/schmoozing skills etc. . . , and could probably have it unlocked within an hour or a day.

I don't see it being any harder to unlock a Z flip vs. another phone.

Also, TMO phones in general get unlocked (or are eligible) once it's been on the TMO network for 40 days (and is paid off) if that helps?

But, please, if you need a more specific answer, you need to ask a more detailed question.

Brevity is not a virtue you want to embrace everywhere. . .

40days it will be unlocked. It doesn't matter if you still owe money if you buy it from bestbuy.

No , didn’t work.
I ordered one flip 3 today morning and Unforunately it shipped. I could not cancel that to place new order with watch

I was able to cancel the phone and then I saw a full price charge for the watch hit my credit card within few minutes of cancellation of phone. Only way to get this promotion on watch is to buy the phone.

Welcome to posting on SD!

Yes, normally the TIV must be less than the new phone purchased. However, the $800 Samsung TIV promo is separate from new phone purchase. So they need to ring up an $800 GC for the ZF3 trade in, and then apply it towards whatever unlocked Samsung phone you purchase from the list. . .$799 S22, $999 S22+, $1199 S22U, $499 S21FE, etc. see Samsung TIV sheet in OP or wiki. . .many people are waiting to see if those unlocked phones reduce in price over the weekend.. .

Are you talking about trading in a ZF3 towards the $800 Samsung Trade in value promo to be applied towards unlocked Samsung phone purchase? If yes, then no you can't use your wife's ID, but then again you won't need to. Just use your's You should be completing the $800 Sammy promo onto a gift card before your carrier account even gets mentioned.

They will want your ID and probably your BB account credentials for trade in/fraud purposes, but make sure they aren't trying to access your carrier account before the $800 GC is accomplished.

To buy the new phone, you will either need to be assigned on the TMO account as authorized to make purchases, etc. Or then again this might be a way out of purchasing anything!!

Hey OP - I personally don't think it's a PM. You can right now get the phone on a new line of service for $500. https://slickdeals.net/f/15797200-best-buy-samsung-z-flip3-arbitrage-100

My guess is they're just clearing excess stock of the watch and phone. The Flip3 was announced/released in August of 2021 and there are a ton of rumors pointing to the Google Watch being released in the next couple months.

Thanks for sharing - It's still a great phone/watch combo.
That's a surefire way to miss out on a deal.

My guess is they're just clearing excess stock. The Flip3 was announced/released in August of 2021 so I wouldn't be surprised if they're just trying to sell as many as possible right now. Thanks for sharing https://static.slickdealscdn.com/ima...lies/smile.gif It's still a great phone/watch combo.
The phone isn't the PM, it is the watch. The watches are $200-$300 on their site but if you buy them with the phone they're all dropped to the same $50 price. There's no mention of it on their website and I think it's a mistake because the watches are supposed to be $50 off, and not $250 off (Using one of them as an example)

Also working for the T-Mobile variant.

I understand cancelling has been discussed, but I wonder what the 'return value' for the phone is without the watch. Will they give me back my entire $500? or subtract $329? 🤔

I am with Verizon right now. If I were to activate it under the carrier; will I be on a contract even when I pay a one time fee of $499?
If yes, how long will I have to stay with Verizon? I see that there is an activation fee of $35. If I switch to a different carrier will I be charged $300?
