  • Go to the 2560x1440@165Hz screen, this GPU can handle it

I recently sold my Omen 17 RTX 3060 in anticipation of this new 3070 TI, that laptop was the best system I've ever owned. Fit and finish is amazing, build quality is great, it's actually attractive enough that strangers would ask me who made it and compliment its looks at Starbucks. Omens are legit, and Omen 17s have the best thermal design in the game imo, you won't regret this as long as you're looking for performance and don't care about battery life.

The one legit drawback to this deal is it won't get to you for 2 months. But this price man... seems worth the wait.

There's a coupon code in the description. Maybe someone can speak to the 3080 vs this 17" super-thermally-uninhibited 3070 TI design. I know my Omen 17 3060 punched way above a normal 3060's weight class, I'm assuming it's the same for the 3070 TI in this chassis. I had a 5900X Legion 7 w/ a 3080 back in the day but returned it because the screen was too small for my tastes, it was a great performer though, used to Halo Infinite in bed w/ that thing. You'd also get Thunderbolt 4 and a PCIe 4 SSD w/ this Omen, and I'm guessing better battery life w/ the Lenovo and a much more portable power adapter w/ the Lenovo and the 16:10 screen is pretty great. After using both myself I strongly prefer the Omen, seemed to run cooler and the bigger screen is the biggest factor for me ( I'm a big guy and sit kind of tall ). Keyboard and trackpad were also shockingly good on the Omen.

This'll be my 3rd Omen 17, first was a 2080, then a 3060, now a 3070 TI. If I recall it's something like if you have one of the top 2 GPU options it has G-Sync, and if you have the lowest GPU it doesn't. Here's an example listing on Amazon where it mentions that some Omen 17's *do* have G-Sync.
