Hate it when I wear out or lose bits from a set with a case, and when I buy extras, I usually have some extras laying around somewhere else that I also end up losing.

Came here to agree with this. I'm a Milwaukee guy, heavily invested in the M18 line and I nearly exclusively run DeWalt bits in them. I find their set selection to be better thought out and (at least three years ago when I started making the switch) their bits were more durable.

But I take care of them and I still have and use every original bit. If you lose more bits than you wear out I wouldn't buy WIHA or comparable.
I guess my main point was that they are actually a noticeably better product not just randomly a higher price (like some of the big brand names).

I get what you guys are saying but, I'm a dewalt guy, have been for 20 years, the Milwaukee impact bits are what I use in my tools, they are stronger and last longer than any other major brands.
