How would I go about getting a pin # or can I create a pin #? Also can I use R-Sim for a soft unlock so my son can use it on our t-mobile service until the official unlock comes. Thanks Ron.

Or simply go to sickw dot com and enter your imei and click basic info. It should tell you if it's locked or unlocked
Do I need to call Metro to explicitly cancel the service? What would happen to my phone number that I ported to Metro? After I stop using it, I will lose the number? Or Metro will keep that number for my account?
Thanks!

I guess my numbers are lost. I'm not certain. Maybe someone else can reply to that. Or how can I check ?
