  2. Port-in a non-T-Mobile/T-Mobile-based MVNO (i.e. Mint Mobile) number to a new line on Metro's $40/month (or higher) prepaid plan
    • Number must not have been active on the T-Mobile network within the past 180 days.
  3. Purchase 64GB Apple iPhone 11 at sign-up for $99.99 (applicable sales tax will be due at time of sign-up)
    • A one-time $20 activation fee applies

Metro is a dirtball company. They hire scammy people who are trained to try shady stuff all of the time. Even the corporate stores have become shady. Stay away from these scammers and give your money to a more reputable company rather than these POS losers.

I went to a Metro corporate store for this promotion and they were not offering it. They did have a similar promotion for $100 for an iPhone 11, but you needed the $60 / month plan with a three-month lock in. After three months there was a $50 rebate card. They also had an iPhone SE3 for $100 and an iPhone SE2 for $0 offer.

They can't lock you in 3 month. It's just employees speaking BS just so that they could make you take the rebate offer when you don't have to.

Say you will sign up and then cancel after first month. Make sure to get your pin number and whatnot so you can cancel yourself online. Then you don't have to go back to corporate to ask them to cancel it for you.

The total should be iPhone 11 $99 + $60 + activation fee.

I just did 4line at a corporate store and the rep told me I can only do 2 transfer and the other 2 won't be eligible for the port in promo, so I did 2 ip11and 2 OnePlus n200(free of charge)and 4line plan 120+ 20*4 activation fee, and they did add 6 dollar insurance per line. Total came out 446.xx. but after I log into the new account I see I have a balance of 144 and I went back, they told me, it's a balance for next month, my question is , is this true or normal, can I port out a day later without penalty? TIA

It's not true and normal, it's come from your 446.xx, but it can use for next monthly service charge, it can't withdraw, if you port out, make sure keep lease one line active to use the balance, once you port out all of lines, you lose the credit.
