"Classic", lol. As in no LED laser, batteries, Bluetooth, cellphone app, etc.
Just pull back and let her snap!

Classic in the sense that it is a metal body like many people's fathers and grandfathers had. Unfortunately it looks like the chalk door is plastic. Hopefully the other black pieces are metal.

Edit: I can see that the upper right of the package says the handle is metal.

my Irwin purchased 25 years ago had a plastic door so I believe same build that I'd still consider "old school"

I know I should pick this up, but probably won't use it for years, if ever. Don't even own a house.

This is used mostly for new construction or entire room remodels. I worked construction for many years (new build and entire house remodels) and believe I used it maybe once or twice a year. Even then, you will only use it but for a couple of minutes and then it goes back into storage.

Yep, a construction friend had used them frequently. I can't think of an alternative use for it, where I might need it. Of course, in 2 weeks, I will.

It's like homeowner's insurance. Better to have it and not need it than the other way around.

For few dollars, I'll buy one. It probably won't happen happen, but I could end up in a situation where this would save my life. I'll pay the $4 for the peace of mind.
