Anyone cooked this in a rice cooker?

Going to be cooking for about 12 people on a vacation coming up, and would love to be able to toss it in the rice cooker we are already bringing.

I've cooked other Spanish rice in a rice cooker. The rice seems to get crispy at the bottom of the bowl. So I usually add some carrots or cubes of ham first. I mix the spice pack and rice in a separate bowl and dump it on top. Works well.

Just make sure to check the package for the amount of water needed. Don't use the water marker inside the rice cooker bowl.

If you want to impress - Cook it on the stove top but add some freshly cooked Onions and Peppers and a can of crushed tomato's. It's a little more work and monitoring - but it's well worth it.

Good point. Or could use on a 6 pack of Zatarain's Cajun Hot Sauce making it less than $1 a bottle. It's good stuff.

Depending on the things available at our AirbnB I am not sure what I'll have available to me.

I'm the family cook, and I have 4 picanah, 5x NY Pork Roast, 4x Chuck Roast to sous vide prior and sear on the grill there. Bringing a rice cooker for a way to do easy sides without a ton of dishes. I think my meals will be good, but figure the Spanish rice will be a nice variation on the white rice we will be doctoring up a few different ways.

Thanks for the input, I think the spanish rice will work for our group!
