All in all, 3 years of GP Ultimate for less than $100 (or a little more if you don't have credit to cover the $14.99 for Ultimate). Great deal.
I guess the deal is marked as expired due to the code not working for the specific vendor mentioned in the post. However, there were still 3-month memberships for $10-11 each from other vendors when I gave it a go. Buying 9 of these and getting the extra month with each redemption is actually a better deal than the $35/year w/ code mentioned in the post.
