$7.78 after applying 50% off coupon. I own this rechargeable flashlight. It is very bright and compact.

I have had this for a while. It does start on high. Don't need to cycle through to turn off, just need to hold down power button for few seconds.

I take it on my night walks, battery lasts weeks before needing to recharge.
Rechargeable, 3 modes, much brighter in high mode, substantially more sturdy. In it's service life, this light will incur $0 additional cost in battery replacement (and a few cents per charge in electricity cost). How much are you going to spend feeding that dollar store light fresh batteries?
I think that you meant, microUSB, and were referring to the charging?

Price is nice. Cons I can see without owning this:
- non-replaceable battery (but should last years)
- strobe is in the cycle (high, low, strobe, off)
- have to cycle for off

May or may not be cons, depending on preference:
- micro-SD
- looks like it starts on high (not sure)

Recharge the non-removable 18650 battery via a power bank, car charger or other USB power source using the included micro USB charging cable. Wish the battery for removable in case it goes bad.

I also have this same flashlight. I just tried the "hold down the power button for a few seconds". That doesn't work on my light.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

How is this any better than the $0.99 ones from dollar store?

I didn't know Eveready is now defunct like Polaroid and sells it's brand to anyone.
