There isn't a new sub anywhere that can match the output of the SPL-150 at that price, or anywhere close to it. The Monolith 12 is an excellent sub that will sound "tighter" to more discerning folks, but to someone that just wants great bass, especially for movies, that Klipsch can't be beat unless you are planning to spend double. Anyone that has heard both IRL will agree with this.

Didn't think we'd see this deal again like last spring, but they're definitely trying to clean out inventory for RP version II stock coming in.

Jump on this while you can. Tons of great opportunity here to build a great system on a tighter budget.

So while yes, we don't know what price the mkii's will be at BF, they will have a steep discount off their msrp, and that is all I was trying to say.

It depends on your expectations/ preference.
My impressions from comparison, in basic terms the 150 will give more low bass but is more loose/less accurate.
The monolith gives you more mid bass punch also.

Can someone recommend some cables to pair with these speakers? Grabbing the 500M, 504C and a pair of the 8000F. This will be my first legit setup. Will stalk Costco for a good receiver to power these!

I would suggest looking at mediabridge or GearIT on Amazon.

If you haven't ordered yet you might consider the 600M, IMO it's worth the extra $100 over the 500M.

Since you are building a 5.0 setup I would suggest looking for an openbox or used receiver unless you need a feature on a new one that a slightly older one doesn't offer.
This will cost you much less and most likely put you in a higher tier model.

That looks like a great combo. I was going to hold out for a Denon receiver but if I went with this bundle would you go with the Yamaha or Pioneer? Also does it come with cables in this bundle or will I need to order some?

I have a set of the RP600m. I have been VERY happy with them but I have been waiting for this.
I just bought a set of RP8000f. I hope the trade off size:sound is worth it. I can't wait.

Before I ruled out adding floor standing speakers to my life and was looking at that bundle it sounded like the Yamaha was worth the extra $100. That's super light research so take it for what it's worth, probably how I would have gone if I had gotten the bundle though.

Monolith, SVS, HSU, take your pick. Klipsch isn't known for great subs and their amps are known to be problematic.
