Tempting for the price, the legion 5 seems to be the most recommended laptop I've seen. Not a big fan of 60 hz, but still a great deal nonetheless.

I agree, 60Hz is a bummer for gaming enthusiasts but it would be good for almost everything else. You won't really find a 17" with these specs at this price. It's a good overall laptop esp considering you can upgrade the RAM.

Looking for a budget 3D CAD modeling workstation and this is incredibly tempting... Just wish the GTX 1650 was certified by DS. Might still be worth the gamble. Thanks for posting.

I think this a great desktop replacement laptop for casual gaming and general use. One advantage of having a low power GPU like the 1650 is that the battery life last longer, especially with the 80W capacity.

It has a graphics card that's meant for 1080p. You'd really need a 3060 at least for 1440p gaming.
