Just $5.43 per outlet. The offset design and the retention screw in middle makes this one of the nicest, for the price, outlet extenders.

This is two pack though. I think it only needs one three prong connector because the two three prong connectors from the wall share the same wires anyways.
This is actually everyday price as i bought a pair about 2 weeks ago. Very sturdy outlet
So they Jacked up the price and then create a "sale"?

These are $7.99 retail at Wal Mart but it looks like they dropped the price to $6.56 in sort of a price match.

Was looking into getting one, but passed. I read the reviews though. A lot of people were upset that it doesn't use two 3 prong connectors when connecting to the wall. I'm sure it was a cost cutting measure, but I've never had one of these with that many outlets before to ever notice the back.

There are no product pictures of the prongs themselves... and even with that & looking at Amazon reviews, I'm not entirely sure if this would be suitable for our outlets

The critical question is why do they want it to be connected with two connectors? As the below poster said the outlet box shares the same wire going up or down the wall, so it makes very little difference whether it uses both prong connectors. More doesn't do anything in this scenario.

Yep you are correct. Same wire, same outlet box, and two connections. Only reason you'd need two grounding prongs might be due to higher amperage applications, but at that point no one competent is looking at a $5 extender for high amps.

Not to mention the rest of the can of worms.

NOT compatible with decor outlets. You're gonna have to use some mounting tape or something if you want this thing to be remotely sturdy in the plug without ability to mount it with a screw. I have not seen those old school round outlets in anyone's home in years, figures that a company as stuck in the past as GE is couldn't make them compatible with decor outlets.

Price history says Amazon has had this price since August 2020. So, only a deal in the sense that the OP thinks it is very nice for the price.

Yep... these are great units, and the single pack is now selling for over $8. Looks like Amazon is price matching HD, but HD doesn't offer free shipping. So, yeah, the 2 pack had been at this price for a few months, but that doesn't change the fact that the 2 pack for less than $11 is still a great deal... esp when you consider our crazy inflation and supply chain challenges.

Not GE brand and not angled, but I was able to find a UL listed 6-Outlet Extender at the dollar store for $1.25 each.
