Keep in mind that, as its name suggests, Tide Simply is a simpler formula containing fewer ingredients than Tide Original. Tide Simply contains fewer enzymes, odor removers, process aids, and sud reducers.

Much less effective than regular Tide. Competes with other bargain detergents, not sure how it compares with them, but don't think it's the same as regular orange bottle - No.

Not to take away from Op but an alternative (especially for those who prefer "Free & Gentle" - which is unavailable from Walgreens), is that Target has the 164 oz bottle of Downy Free & Gentle on sale for $12.99 - 2.00 (Target Circle Coupon) = 10.99.

It comes out to .067 cents per oz (similar price per oz as this Walgreens deal). If you happen to buy 3 bottles, there's also a $10 Target gift card (but that's a LOT of Downy!).

Thanks! Got the target deal as i have bunch of gift cards. Couldn't use $2 off coupon as it's in-store only. However with three of them with $10 gift card, it still came out better than Walgreens for /oz. We usually go through those three in a year so i am ok.
