Kroeger charges sales tax..Target doesnt. If your state doesnt charge sales tax on these cards than Kroger deal is better..

I am planning on switching to the AT&T 8GB prepaid plan in July from Redpocket, since their service is really bad recently. I was wondering what the best way would be to get this discount to work. Can I purchase the $300 using these cards in advanced ( I want to port in my current number) or do I have to have an prepaid account with AT&T already? Thanks for any help!

I guess yes for people who need att/cricket and have 5%+ cashback credit card or can take advantage of fuel points.

For me, I need tmobile card and have red card/discover for extra 5% cashback

A word of caution. Some time back I took advantage of this deal and when I attempted to use the prepaid card it would not validate because Target had failed to activate it. Target refused to refund due to their strict no refund policy even though they were at fault. The deal turned out to be an expensive bummer. I now only purchase from Walmart make them show my they have activated the card.

ATT card says 90 day expiration. Is that after purchase or after applying to an account?

Prepaid card pins under $100.00 expire 90 days after you add them to your account. Balance expiration dates always go by the last pin entered on your account. Not sure how long Target Pins are good for if you don't add them to your account right away.

These codes will come to you in an email. Once you get everything ported in you can go into your account and add the codes

If you have problems with expiration dates you can just contact support and they will change the expiration date.

Also just so everyone knows the expiration date does not start until you add the code into your account so if you are more than 90 days out on a renew just keep the cards in your email and when it comes time for the next 300 being due add them.

Also the codes themselves from target do not expire.

I've always purchased online with email delivery and never had an issue.
