Spices enhance and create flavors. The salt and pepper only crowd are no different than the coffee should only be served black crowd. Your preference is not wrong and it is not right. Suggesting otherwise is snobbish.

I don't put this on steak but love it for burgers. This plus Worcestershire sauce makes for easy but tasty burgers, especially if making a bunch for a party. I put 1 Tbsp of each per pound of beef.

This is a very good deal even with 22% of it being salt. When I buy spice mixes like this the way I usually can gauge a good or bad deal is by the amount of salt in it which I consider a worthless filler. This mix is 22% salt which breaks down to about 23 Oz of non filler spices per 29 oz container overall. So again, even though this is basically 1/5 salt in the bottle it's still a very good deal.

I use spice mixes like this to make homemade soup only. I don't put this on steak or meat, which you probably would want to have some salt on, so that is the reason I wrote the above analysis with the salt content and the spices content break down.
