2. Low - Push button twice
3. Strobe - Push button three times
4. Wide High - Push button once and hold until light flashes one time.
5. Wide Low - Push button twice and hold until light flashes one time.
6. Spot High - Push button once and hold until light flashes twice
7. Spot Low - Push button twice and hold until light flashes twice
Off - Push button four times.
Operating the modes with just one button makes it very inconvenient. Every time you turn off the light, you have to see the strobe effect. I'm taking off another star because of that. BTW, please stop adding the useless strobe mode to flashlights.

This is why I am unsure I want a rechargeable one I need a few around the house and one in each car, but if they can't hold a charge long, seems kinda like I would be stuck with a dead flashlight.
