Yeah I'm not sure how this is getting any votes. Console is up weekly for $250 and elden ring has been as low as $27 from eneba.

Buy the console for less and the game separate. Cheaper.

What do you mean, "pop ups"?
Maybe pop-ups isn't the right description. Picture walking in the fields and there's foliage, bushes, grass…on the x they're just there. On the S, it renders slowly and often times they just pop-up when you're wishing feet away.

Good deal as long as Elden Ring gets good performance on the series s.

How does ER perform on this console? Looks very good on series X.
I alternate between xsx & xbone - game runs fine enough for PvE on latter, solid

That sounds pretty annoying to see actually lol

Because a lot of people already have money/gift cards put into their Amazon balance.

I think the term is pop-in, so close enough Wink

Yeah I hate pop-in in games. Unfortunately one of the limitations of the Series S is its amount of RAM so this kind of issues are just going to get worse as the generation moves along. But to be fair, From Software aren't the best at optimizing the games so there's that too (the game doesn't run that well on PC).

Is this backwards compatible with prior Xbox consoles unlike the X Series?
Both the Series X and Series S are backward compatible with all Xbox One games. Digital only for the S though obviously.

Buyer beware.

You will only have enough available hard drive space for the equivalent of 2 COD games.

Proprietary memory to increase the space will cost you over $200.

You're now looking at the cost of about $500 or more for this inferior gaming experience.

This is not a slick deal.

NONE of these "available stock" regular Xbox offers have ever qualified as a Slick Deals.

The Series X is backwards compatible with previous consoles. Not sure what you are talking about.

Thanks for response. When I purchased the X and tried playing 360 on HDs, they gave me a message that it wasn't compatible.

Not all games are supported for back-compat but nearly all of them people still care about are
