I was able to order 6 bottles of wine shipped for around $15 after combining Amex CB offer and Macys Wine coupon. Repeated the deal second time with a second card and both CB was received. Notification email was triggered immediately for one order only. But both CB was posted.

1. Added the deal on my Amex card.
2. Initiated the purchase using the link provided in the offer. VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU START THE ORDERING FROM THE LINK PROVIDED IN THE OFFER. REMAIN ON THE SAME INSTANCE OF THE BROWSER UNTILL CHECK OUT IS COMPLETED. REMEMBER OR COPY THE 35% OFF CODE BEFORE HAND- SPRINGTIME. Or 40% OFF COUPON- DAD40
3. Added 6 bottles to get free shipping. I just randomly chose the cheapest ones/on sale.
4. Used a 35% off coupon- SPRINGTIME ( or 40% off coupon DAD40, just came out)
5. Paid with the Amex card

$~72$ - 35% off+Taxes -$35 CB= ~15$ for 6 bottles shipped.

Good luck. DO NOT USE THE LINK PROVIDED IN THIS POSTED DEAL. THIS MIGHT OR MIGHT NOT TRIGGER THE CB. SEE INSTRUCTIONS. THANKS.

Do you buy individual bottles, or a group? Where did you find sub-$10 wines? Everything seems $10+

Individual wines. Between 10$-13$. Add 6. Becomes around 50$ after 35% off coupon. Then you take 35$ Amex CB. Thanks.

Ah, I see. I misinterpreted your post. I thought $50 was pre-coupon, which is dumb because the Amex CB requires $50+.

His math is $50 after 35%
coupon, so about $80 for 6 bottles before coupon.

Correct. My total was 75 ish before 35% off. I chose the cheapest one available since I was not sure if the deal would work. But if anyone prefers for more expensive collections then deal should still work but average price will be higher. Thanks.

CB requires minimum 35$ purchase just FYI. I just couldn't collect 6 bottles to make it at or around 35$. That would be sweet deal though! Minimum 6 bottles is required for free shipping.

Yeah, I just went back and read it. My brain isn't functioning right now. lol. I actually activated the offer, made a $51+tax purchase, and it didn't trigger the deal immediately. How long did it take for Amex to tell you it triggered the offer? It's usually immediate, so I'm a little worried. The last, only, time it didn't trigger immediately, it took a lot of work to get Amex to fix it - oddly, that was a wine deal too.

OK, OP. Important detail. I was worried that the Amex deal didn't take because, despite clicking the link from Amex (which is required in the T&C), I didn't do it all in the same tab. I chatted with their rep, and had them cancel my initial order. I then went directly from the Amex offer, added the bottles I wanted, and checked out - staying in the same tab. That time, it immediately triggered the Amex offer. So, I would strongly advise putting this in the instructions.

Get a one-time $35 statement credit by using your enrolled eligible Card to make a single purchase of $35 or more online only at macyswineshop.com/amex by 9/5/2022. Purchases must be completed by using the link provided. See terms.

I would not only do it through the link above, but actually click the link in your offer, in your Amex account, while logged in, and stay in the same browser tab.

EDIT: I see you specified it in your instructions, and I'm thick, but BOLD it.

Thanks again. Hope these are decent tasting wines. Not expecting much for $3/bottle, so just as long as they are semi-decent, I'm happy.

In my first occasion, I almost thought it was not going to be honored. No initial email confirmation. I used the provided link on the deal. But after 7/8 days the deal was marked as USED. Then couple of days later I got the $35 credit. Used the deal second time on another Amex card and it was smother this time around starting from immediate confirmation email. Key is to use the provide link as commented in another comment and described it n the steps. Good luck.

Thanks. Let us know how it goes. I am hopeful for your order. I could not see an option to Bold it on my app unfortunately.

Just edit your 2nd step and tell people to go to their activated offer in their Amex account, and directly click the link in the offer Terms & Conditions, and to complete the entire transaction in the browser tab created by Amex. That will work, 100%. Other methods may not.

Thank you. I'm not sure why someone gave you a thumbs down for incorrect information. You had it correct, you just weren't as explicit as you probably need to be because Amex is so particular about such deals. The exact same thing happened on a Wine Insiders deal, where I didn't stay within the tab, and it didn't trigger the Amex deal. It's an Amex issue, not your deal, that's the problem. Amex can easily see the Merchant as soon as it's charged, you shouldn't need to go through special links or stay within tabs. It's like they're trying to intentionally get you on a technicality.

Yeah. I also updated the numbers for clarification. I am not particularly worried about thumbs down. My goal is to tell my proven scenario. It might or might not work for others if the instructions were not followed or Amex/Macys change the rules. I thought wine under 3$ would taste sweeter 🤩🤩

Well, some wines simply aren't worth a $1 - some are completely undrinkable, if you ask me. Some of the Wine Insiders pack that I got were pretty awful. It's the kind you drink after you've already had a bottle (not that would know!! laugh out loud) But, I ordered some relatively safe bets on this one, wines/varietals/sources that are pretty hard to screw up.
