I literally bought this on Saturday with and for my 3 year old, before this deal of course. It was quite impressive for its first use out of the box. Afterward, it was pretty crappy. The soap gets caked up or something, I don't know, preventing maximum bubble effectiveness. I had to rinse it with a garden hose (we were in the backyard) to clean up the soap a bit and bring it back to near new effectiveness. Long term, I'm not sure if rinsing it like that would damage it, but I'm guessing so. I'd rate it 3/5 stars for the full price I paid. Maybe 4/5 for this lower price.

I've had this for over a month. Goes through batteries like crazy. Makes great bubbles for a few min, but horizontal rotating wand design makes foam so bubbles get more and more 'clumpy' until just basically becoming a foam machine. Have to wipe it off constantly. Gave up and bought a plug in, vertical wand instead.
