I almost exclusively use the bear mountain in the recteq. That being said - the Albertsons, Safeway chain almost always has these in 20# bags for $9.99. Might be more convenient for those without a membership

That's a good deal too, but no Albertsons near me. This is $18.99 with free shipping. Hard to beat that for a high quality pellet delivered right to my front door.

Just to give some people some options Walmart has 40lb Competition blend Pitboss pellets for around $17-18 I forget exactly, but its a regular price for it. Anytime I run low I pick it up as almost all my local Walmarts have it.

I think so. I use Bear Mountain and Lumberjack pellets only. Pitboss had WAY too much dust.

I recently picked-up a 40# bag of pit boss pellets from Lowes for $12. Have not used them yet. I've always used Traeger or Bear Mountain pellets. I did not know Kirkland (Costco) had their own pellets / have not seen them in my local stores.

Lowe's may still have the pit boss competition for $12 and change for the 40lb. I just picked it up the other day. It was a slickdeal earlier this week

All I saw in my Costco over the weekend was another Traeger demo/display and Traeger pellets. I wonder when my Costcos will start selling their own.

Yes. I switched from Pit Boss to these. I started sifting my pellets and the Pit Boss were much more dirty.
