Wow, I think I might have to pick this up as I was eyeing the one on Amazon. The low amount of ram is actually a plus for me so I might be dissuaded from doing anything but working on the stuff I should work on when I bring this with me.

You can upgrade the SSD if you need more storage.

alcantara looks great when its new, but with regular use oils stains and discoloration happen and aren't easy to clean.

The first thing my son mentioned when he saw the specs is that he'd need a bigger SSD. (starting his PhD in mech/chem eng and he wanted something small that's easy to carry around).
