Nice deal. My local best buy also had these for the same price but they were out of stock in no time. This deal at Amazon is still up and I just purchased one. Thanks!

Sooo tempted... But the 4 series cards should be dropping in September. Maybe it's worth holding off .. but this is solid if you need a card right now.

Amazon is showing 9 left in stock. Search on GV-N3080GAMING.

EDIT: I see what the difference is between all these cards. This one is LHR. So search on

GV-N3080GAMING LHR

And you'll see it. LHR is bad for mining (although work arounds may exist) but fine for video games.

That's the 10GB version of 3080, at 799 it's not nearly as good as this deal.

Dang, thanks. I mistakenly thought GV-N3080GAMING OC was the entire model number. Yeah, the 10 GB model is not nearly as good a deal. Oh well.

Also, anybody that jumped on this - register at the Gigabyte website to turn your 3 year warranty into a 4 year one.

Sorry but any brand but Gigabyte...their customer service is the worst. We had to RMA one card and it took 6 months of them sending back unrepaired or replaced, we had two cards they lost after their hack, and their customer service is the worst in the industry. Pay more for EVGA or Asus--even MSI..I own a computer store and we won't buy anything Gigabyte till the straighten their act out.

The new gpus are 4 x the performance. This is a top end card. It should be 500 maybe 600 with inflation. Put another way that's what you'll pay max for this perf in a few months. I don't see the point unless you need one now. Also it's nvidia, so they'll do everything in their power to stop supporting this hardware. it's not like they'll bring any new features to these cards like AMD would. Just saying. Your buying old tech which isn't the most forgiving thing. I get that the prices have been high for the last few years, but that alone doesn't make this a great deal. It's 800 dollars. Keep that in perspective. It should have had 12gb to begin with 10 was always stingy. Also another thing to consider is FSR2 will get great support because of consoles, and that closes the gaps with 6800 xt which already has advantages below 4k to where it will have those advantages at 4k. Ultimately it likely will age better and has more ram. I've seen the 6800 already close to 700. I think we'll see 500. Expect zero support on this in 2 months. Expect better performance on cheaper. Expect to feel buyer's remorse.
