Our friends who lives literally across the main street from us have AT&T Fiber, but the service is not available for us. What the hell? Did they just run their fiber up to across the street and say let's screw that whole neighborhood over there? It's literally only about 300ft away.

Take a screenshot of all of the coupons applied when you check out.

I used this deal and they only gave me half of the visa gift cards til I called, complained, and showed them the screenshot. They couldn't even give me it all as a gift card and instead credited part to my account. Not sure why, but I think sometimes deals get approved by one part of the company and they don't bother telling the other departments how to pay them out. Oh well. I got everything I was owed at least.

About 11 years ago, I couldn't get Att DSL in my neighborhood. So I did an online search on why. One website said that ATT doesn't serve low income areas cuz they were likely to not pay their bills. Lol.

If you can't do what the crazy people are doing(moving across state lines or changing careers) just for the addicting speeds - Well, you can get a couple of your neighbors to contact/request and it will get a provider's attention. Typed the wrong word, meant the gift cards they send out.

I didn't do anything wrong. I stacked a few codes, got the gift card numbers up, then checked out and took a screenshot of the confirmation.

Do you work for AT&T or something? Weird that you'd jump to blaming me rather than them. 🤷

That's pretty f'ed up. Not the case here because they do have other services for us. Every time I called to inquire about their fiber service, they would offer me their DSL service instead for $45/month. Each time I declined and told them why would I pay $45/month for their DSL service knowing my neighbors across the street could get fiber service for just a few bucks more. As much as I hate my cable service, now I hate AT&T more.
