I was thinking about getting the tile saw at Harbor Freight's parking lot sale for $120 (http://www.harborfreightusa.com/u...mid=98265), but this seems like a better deal since it includes the stand, and you can cut bigger tile..
i was gonna go for the HF one too - but it doesn't have a laser, right? (your link does not work)
oh and i think the HF one didn't have the stand OR blade either IIRC...

You're right...I was looking into the one from HF also (based on other posts on SD), but this one gets MUCH better reviews, has a stand, laser and a blade.
However, keep in mind that some posts recommend upgrading the blade to make it a top notch saw. There were a good number of contractors posting that they were buying this saw for their purposes....not just homeowners. Several of them were saying it was better than HD's new Ryobi saw that costs double ($299 with stand).
Mine arrives today (I ordered on Friday, when they got their stock back....it was Out of stock before then). So, pretty quick turnaround for free shipping. I'll let you know what I think!!!
i was looking at the Ryobi saw since i have a lot of ryobi stuff, but it got TERRIBLE reviews. liked the green color though. i have a cheapo blade that came with my $60 table wet tile saw that works great on marble - i got an expensive one and it didn't work as well. some of those blades cost more than this saw! i will have to do some research and get the right blade, i know that can make or break the saw.

I could use this saw, but there is no place to enter gift cards when checking out. I have over $1k of them and don't want to spend money out of my pocket. I called the local HD, and they said returning it in store and rebuying it with gift cards wouldn't work.
