In case of Lowes & HD, they replace just the broken socket INSTORE

That said I did buy one a few months back because $99 is a decent price and I don't have any complaints about it

Spoiler: It's not a great deal. Most of the higher piece count in this set comes from bits (with lots of duplicates) and hex keys, the warranty is mail-in and probably not worth your hassle. I'm also not a fan of only having the 12pt sockets on the 1/2" drive and 6pt on the 1/4" and 3/8" - in fact, that's the opposite of what I like to have in a set. Bottom line, if you don't absolutely need a set right now wait until one of the better set assortments goes on sale.
I own several sets from Hart, Kobalt, Husky, Craftsman, HF and others and there are things I like and don't like about each.
My personal favorite for the assortment and lifetime in-store warranty swap is the HF 301 which I've owned for about 3 years now. It goes everywhere with me in my truck and the wide gamut of more rare sockets sizes and bits have saved the day many times when every other set that didn't include them would have let me down. The HF 225 and Husky 270/290 sets are also nice, and my decision point between those would be to go with HFs with their suitcase style case if you're going to move them around and the Husky with their pull-out drawer cases if they're going to stay put on a shelf.
One other tip is to get the impact rated versions.
They aren't as pretty, but even the ones at Harbor Freight are more durable than the standard sockets of more reputable brands while still being way cheaper.
