Nice price relative to last 2 years but it's a ridiculously expensive card still. Prices are still dropping. Be patient

There will be a race to the bottom. Have seen this cycle down before. With a recession looming, manufacturers will blink and the 3 series prices will be obliterated. They are more scared of a glut at lower prices than optimizing their profits. Just wait and see. Anyone who buys now will probably regret not waiting a few to several months when all of the used and new 3 stock goes on clearance.
Also keep in mind any decent resell value for your current card will be much lower in a year. So if your card isn't super old you should keep that in mind

I don't think it's that far off. I would guess early next year we may see prices like that after the 4000 series is released.

Just a few months ago many scoffed at the idea of 3080's dropping below $1000 anytime soon, and here we are not all that far from MSRP.

Sorry I have not been in the PC scene for some time. Is LHR card a good/bad thing?
It just means Low Hash Rate, lower mining performance. No difference in gaming.

Here's hoping the crypto market keeps collapsing to reduce demand for video cards going forward. Here's hoping they continue raising rates and going QT to cool off the economy. High prices due to shortages from reseller parasites, crypto miners, and an overheated economy, helps nobody except the small minority of people buying up all the items. 18.4% of homes were bought by investors last quarter. That's insanity.

Will buy a 12 GB 3080 for $600 if they ever reach that price. Otherwise, I will wait for the 4080 entirely. Would consider a 10gb 3080 for $500.

Pop all the bubbles. Make money scarce. Jack up the rates. Bankrupt the zombie entities.

Ive had this card since launch. Its been solid. Things huge though. You need a big case and a videocard stand or it will bend your mb.

Same here bro. I was ready to upgrade, but it barely won't fit

And as soon as those cards are released, their price will be way above MSRP as well. Then by the time we wait for those cards to go back down to MSRP, 5 series will be coming. Pointless to say things like this.

That being said, anything close to MSRP for a 3 series card is a good deal. MSRP for 3 series was already lower than MSRP for 2 series.

Actually not anymore. It was only on a few coins in the first place and it has already been bypassed on all but a couple of versions of cards. I believe the 3080 12GB which was probably why they got discounted first.

This was the card I wanted to get for my white build, but decided to pull the trigger on the (still available) XFX Limited Black 6900XT. That thing is well built and very fast. I don't regret not picking this one up after seeing the build quality on it and how fast it rips through games. Now my 3440 monitor can handle max settings on demanding games.

With PS5 and XBox Series X availability getting better, it's getting harder to justify spending more than $500 on a video card.

My rx 590 sapphire might be dying. Recently, my PC has been randomly restarting. Sometimes multiple times a day, sometimes none, but only while gaming. Trying to hold out for the 4000

Nice price. 12.6" long.
Sadly it won't fit in my case, hits the front CPU cooler fans.
I tuck mine down the left side of my jeans. But a computer case? Let's not get weird in here.
