I have the Evanston. I love the screened in porch. Big enough for a couple camping chairs if you want to avoid bugs. Nice overall tent. None of these are for hiking of course. All heavy.

Great price on the 6 person instant tent. I just bought the core 6 person for $160 and leaving with it tomorrow or I might consider that.

I do with the Coleman instant tents had a regular fly and not an "integrated fly" or charge you extra for an actually fly.

I had wanted that tent for awhile but I really wish the screen room had zip up panels or fly coverage. I know a couple other models have those options. In perfect weather it sounds great. Any rain or dew etc sounds not fun since it doesn't have drainage either.

I've had a huge Coleman instant tent from Costco for years. It's held up well, absolute game changer for setting up and taking down

We have a 6 person coleman instant that's several years old. Looking to upgrade to a 10 person instant.

You aren't wrong. It's not the best for rain and it does pool up. Best solution is to have the foyer on a slight download so it drains by itself, but of course that's not always possible. Dew is nothing, I highly recommend a microfiber towel for any camping because you can wipe down and ring out over and over again.

Yeah was looking into the instant one...but no included fly cover. Heard the integrated one isnt great at all, most recommend buying the add-on.

4-person doesn't come with a rain fly. Shouldn't have to buy that as an optional accessory to stay dry. No wonder so cheap. Forget it.

Coleman 8-Person Tent for Camping | Elite Montana Tent with Easy Setup is also on sale for $106. Is it worth spending extra $26 over this one? Need some advise

Have regular montana, it's fine, only complaint is air flow could be better.

Elite on has lights. We just bring a lantern and there is a top hook spot for it.

I really liked the room in the 8 person Montana but lots of reviews said it leaked like a sieve while some said it stayed dry. I got the impression that you took your chances with that one, so I'm thinking the Evanston with the porch looks good. I don't like the idea that the porch will get wet but I haven't found a large tent that didn't have some compromises.

Ozark Trail has similar instant up tent for &100 regularly at Walmart. Coleman is considered better quality, but I was surprised with how good the Ozark Trail was

Have you had trouble with it leaking?
